Human Footprints

The »human footprint« signifies a global map of our influence on the surface and suggests that we are nature’s keepers, whether we want the job or not. A long-term imprint on the nature depends on our readiness to take responsibility of this guardianship and recognizing the existence of the human footstep is an important move on the path.

»Global warming, changes in our climate it all comes back to us. We all leave our carbon footprint. Our exhibitions, workshops and debates will be closely connected to this theme. We will display the work of various renowned photographers from all corners of the world showing economic growth, pollution and us humans having to deal with the negative effects of all of this.

The students doing the workshops will be challenged to show their world in pictures according to our theme since we all leave our human footprint. They will work with a subject that can be found on their doorstep. Fotopub will thus show the concern of photographers with the world they live in.«
