"Making Contact!
Every year the program of the festival carries a theme. This year art director Chris de Bode has chosen a theme “Making Contact” showing the work of photographers from almost all continents, meeting them and finding out if the “photo-language” they use is worlds apart from ours. Do all these photographers speak a different tongue in their pictures or is photography a universal medium where globalization is a natural thing? We will challenge the students and visitors to make contact and meet a whole variety of cultures.
