Fotopub 2009
The ninth edition of Fotopub will take place from 27th July - 1st August. Exhibitions will be open until 16th August.
Every year we pick a theme, which is reflected throughout the festival. This year Fotopub will carry a theme “Making Contact” showing the work of photographers from almost all continents, meeting them and finding out if the “photo-language” they use is worlds apart from ours. Do all these photographers speak a different tongue in their pictures or is photography a universal medium where globalization is a natural thing? We will challenge the students and visitors to make contact and meet a whole variety of cultures.
