Opening of the Fotopub Festival

We are inviting you to the 10th edition of Festival of Documentary Photography Fotopub, which is taking place from 26 July to 7 August in Novo mesto.

Fotopub carries a new theme every year which represents the common thread for the festival as well as the workshops. In the 10th anniversary year of Fotopub the theme is “Crossing Borders”.
The fast changing landscape of documentary story-telling within photojournalism shows us more than only the picture. Multimedia sounds and movies are integrated in the story itself. Many agencies, web based magazines etc shift their focus towards this new style narrative. We as Fotopub will take the lead in signalizing these trends.

Fotopub is small and intimate festival, small in the warmest sense of the word.
