Events and exhibitions

All exhibitions are open from 26 July to 7 August 2010; we are preparing special events at the galleries in the first week.

From 26 - 31 July, opening times are from 11am – 9pm.
From 1 August – 7 August, opening times are from 3pm – 8pm.

Evening screenings – Story telling
Fotopub workshops mentors will prepare lectures and presentations of their work. These lectures are open to the public and free of charge.

Every evening from 8pm, at Club LokalPatriot, Glavni trg 11

Tribune
Tribune is a space and opportunity to discuss photography and since Fotopub is oriented in documentary photography, the topics are from the field of photojournalism. Every year we try to find a current and interesting topic for this public discussion.

Thursday 4pm, at Cultural Centre Janez Trdina, Novi trg 5

Nikon Thursday Award
Fotopub and Nikon present an award for best documentary photo story shown at the festival. Photographers can enter their stories through an open call at this website: go to Thursday Award link. Screenings are open the public and free of charge.

Thursday 9pm, at Museum Gardens, Museum of Dolenjska
